Funfairs in London

There are 3 weeks to go (or 4) until we hand our kids back to the routined life of school, but until then, we as the guardians still need to find fun ways to kill off their energy and create forever lasting memories.
One of our summer favourites, that never gets boring is the funfair! Cheap looking pricy food stalls; screams from deadly rides and the jewellery box music that doesn't sound creepy in daylight.
A cheap and local version of your Legoland or Alton Towers, means you have zero excuse to not pass by. I've listed the funfairs happening across London this summer - find some cash and add it to your diary. First here are some top tips:
Tips for funfair fun
Walk around once first - Map out the rides everyone wants to go on first. If you know the top 3 rides, prioritise them and then if you have tokens left over you can spend them on bonus rides/activities
Bring a packed lunch - I prefer to spend the coins on candy floss (1 for the whole family) or ice cream on a hot day. A standard hot dog can cost £8, and trust me, you could have made it yourself in 15 minutes. Save your money for gourmet.
Go with another family or group of kids - (try and make it an even number of people). You can share ticket prices and for games like the bouncy castles and bumper cars the kids have more fun doing it with their besties.
Bring coins - You are walking into a cash only environment. You might want to go to the arcade, grab some food - although we always avoid the "pick up a duckie with a rod game" since there is already so many toys and clutter in the bedroom.
P.s. Have a budget and stick to it, when the cash runs out you can sit outside the park and have a picnic.
Go on 1 family ride - This year my 6 year old finally went on a few rides alone since she was with friends, but our family ride has always been the classic bumper cars. You are never too old for thrills!
